To be fair, zombies and goblins make good arrow sponges to ensure that your Crab samurai stay alive and at full strength. Not to mention the morale effect on the enemy that has probably never seen the walking dead.

It was a sound strategy.

And it worked, too. If the Emperor hadn't have been possessed when Kisada reached the palace, it would be the Kisada dynasty.

Yeah. Certainly would have been interesting, just hate how they all went along with it. Suppose though when you swear yourself to your lord, it's hard to disagree with them.

A lot of stories showed various Crab not being okay with it, but the Kuni kept telling them it was fine. And like... they should be the ones that know, right?

They trapped Mujiina to work in their mines and that worked out, so why not oni?

I can see how it gets out of hand quick.

Aya takes control of a Tsuno to help fight battles, go team! Then she gets a few more, cause fuck yeah.

Then another wardmaster does it, cause now you've got a really awesome death unit for basically free.

A few more wards and shugenja, now you've got a small army of expendable Tsuno that will obey your every command, and some are soul twisters that can summon spirits, so maybe it's time to claim some land...

And then you're marching to war with Toshigoku at your side.
