I'm still waiting for the plot twist that Touki's wife isn't actually dead. She either faked it, or it was in Touki's mind, or the Steel Chrysanthemum needs to punch the walls of reality. :P

Plot twist, Akodo Touki is actually the recently murdered Hantei, but the one killed was actually his bodyguard-double, and someone planted false memories in Touki to protect him...

It would be kind of funny if the recently murdered Hantei was so angry he ended up in Toshigoku and slipped through the portal just before it closed, intent on stabbing his ancestor for killing him.

So checking to see if I'm being ignorant as a player, but I got the impression that the Scorpion clan threw in behind Kato, publicly at least, when the champion's sister got engaged to him.

Is that an incorrect read?

Half the game threw in with Kato but the head of the Scorp delegation as far as I can see didn't?

At least from the player poll, it was fairly evenly split between support for Kato and support for Tokiyo. I'm guessing a good portion of many clan's Kato support comes from situations like that however (political bribes, favors, blackmail, etc).
