"I smell a rat," Sukekage says as he continues to close in, his keen eyes easily following the departing form. "No flying away, and trying to hide in the shadows rather than fading into one of the other spirit realms I don't think we're dealing with a spirit here, Osamu-san... A spy, perhaps?"

"Can Kenku actually fly?" Osamu asked curiously, not trying to track the form as whoever it was moved away. The Scorpion was likely right though about whoever it waa not being one. I mean a Lenku wouldn't flee from a challenge right?

"I truly doubt it was a spy though. I'm not an expert on these things, but I'm fairly certain a spy wouldn't need all the theatrics. Or spend their time watching random samurai in a garden." His lips curled into a half smile. "I suppose we won't learn more though, unless we want to go chasing them through the gardens."

"I could use a bit of exercise," Sukekage replies, his eyes still on the "kenku". "It's at least as good at working off stress as sake is, I've found."

"Mmm." Osamu replied rising from his seat and dusting himself off. "I suppose it's bad manners to let you go into the night chasing some mysterious figure on your own." He finished his cup of sake and stored it into his sleeve before picking up the bottle.

"So lead the way."

Sara felt a slow trickle of sweat on her back, but she turned and started running.

Hopefully she can lose the boys.

Osamu had some interest in unmasking the Kenku, not enough to put in his full effort though. Taking a swig from the sale bottle. He moved to follow Sukekage through the gardens.

"So what's the plan if we catch them?"

"Though how they went about it really wasn't wise."

"Not at all," Sukekage agrees. "Were I an archer rather than a swordsman, the act probably would have ended quite poorly."

"And here I was thinking battle wasn't your strong suit." Osamu replied with a half smile. Not pointing out that bringing a bow to the gardens would be more then a bit odd.

"Oh, it isn't, but at the same time I'm not unskilled," replies Sukekage. "Traveling alone, I have to be prepared for anything."

The man certainly went chasing strange people into the night as if battle was his strong suit. Osamu wasn't going to comment on that though. "I can understand that I suppose. I have my spells to aide me should I meet trouble. Such is not the same for everyone though."
