She does not stop in her drills with her budoka.

"Perhaps more information would help me sort through all the faces in my mind?"

There was nothing about the word "think" that rang true.

The tone gives Mogami pause, but she answers quickly,

"Ah, Homura-san! Yes indeed, I know her. We have been sharing stories with each other."

She smacks her budoka on the chest with her bokken, showing him he was too slow to thrust at her.

The excitement on her face is there, but she tries to get it under control.

Then her eyes narrow, with a certain menace. "What type of stories?"

Another hard smack on the other budoka, this time on the arm for overextending in his strike.

Misaki just stares, venom in her eyes.

It is, in a word, unsettling. Shouldn't she... say something?

"Already met," she finally says. She rips her gaze away so forcefully you can feel it. Her eyes scan the dojo.

"Anyone want to fight?"

Mogami artfully dodges a spear thrust straight at her midsection and nods to her Budoka.

"Good, seizing upon your enemies distraction is key. Never hesitate to strike when the moment presents itself"

She says to the man and sets her bokken down, looking to the others in the dojo to see if anyone takes up the offer from her cousin.

The conversation was noted by Poemu. She had been convinced to a personal name basis with Homura after a winter court together after all, and the reactions were... unique.

Misaki is it? I will have to ask Homura about her when next we meet...

He shrugs.

"Still, I am prepared to make my best attempt, if needed."

"An Iron Warrior is always ready to fight, Matsu-sama. Bayushi-sama was faster however, as befits a Scorpion." She offers each of them a bow, spins her bokken, and awaits the next move.

She supposed the Matsu intended to spare, but one never really knew. Being bludgeoned to death by a Matsu was not the worst way to die. Of course it would take a while.

The Matsu makes a sound that could be a growl as she glances at Mogami.

"Either one of you." She shrugs. "Both. It doesn't matter. It's all for training, right?"

"If you wish, I could offer you a challenge. Let us step outside and take fifty paces. The challenge is for me to hit you twice with my yumi before you land a strike with your bokken."

She motions back to the two budoka.

"It would be a good learning experience for my men, either way."

Having seen the Lion eyeing the Crane earlier, Sukekage steps backward, withdrawing his offer in favor of the more interesting match.

Something was not quite right here, and it was the duty of a Daidoji to defend.

"All for training. Quite so, Matsu-sama." Tetsuko salutes with her bokken and takes up a ready stance. The Strength of the Crane fills her soul.
