Apologies to threads I'm in. Today was my long/super-busy day as we shuffle/stagger schedules to try having fewer people in the lab at any given time. Also the first day of mandatory masks (we're not a human medical facility nor public facing, so the risks are not so great as other essential work). Even a cloth mask makes for a really draining day, it turns out; between the mild dehydration because it requires conscious effort to arrange to drink something, and the increase in resistance for breathing. What kind of lab? My partner does forensic toxicology. They are mandatory, but have broken the lab into small teams of like 6. Each team is only at work 2 days a week, work from home on the other days.
