Mei nods and then turns to Hachi, ensuring to cover herself with her hands beforehand, and bows.

Yukarin thought about the saying a moment; It almost sounded like something a Dragon would come up with, apart from the fact it made too much sense.

"I suppose it's not like I want to be perfect at everything I practice. Just proficient would do. And like you said, in a permanent sort of way, ingrained perhaps. I guess that really answers my question."

Mei smiles and then walks over to the edge of the bath and sinks back into it.

"What has you so interested?"

She eyes Yukarin up and down.

"My apologies, but you do not have the look of a fighter."

Only now did Yukarin realize she'd been standing around in not even waist deep water for quite some time, nude. Not that she had anything to be ashamed of, but it also wasn't precisely proper.

Following suit, she went over to the edge and found a seat, not rushing or anything and making it all look natural, "I just do not want to feel so powerless anymore, that is the short of it. I am not saying I want to be a bushi, because I do not. But I do not want to be a damsel in distress, or a bystander when those I care for or wish to protect come into danger."

"That is certainly a good reason, though I am surprised you do not have a Yojimbo, especially being so far from Crab lands. I thought the Yasuki almost always had a couple to protect them and their wares as they travel"

"I have been considering it this winter... It's not something I'm very used to. Certainly the Ide Traders aren't much for dedicated yojimbo, since they travel with caravans typically."
