"I would like to work on forging efforts with the Scorpion. Many feel that Hantei Tokiyo will usher in an era of militarist rule and living. There needs to be some establishment of a political hold so that things to do not get out of hand. It is a matter of casting off balance."

Another sip.

"I would like to also work towards us working together both professionally and personally. I hope that isn't an issue Miya-san?"

Mei smiles and gives him a sultry look.

"No problem at all, Otomo-sama. I will try to get some local assets to get me some information to work on. Are you starting in on the Scorpion already? Who of note is in their number here?"

"I have developed a friendship with one of the Yogo here so that is where I am starting on that front. I would very much like to start with you on perhaps a late dinner?"

Mei places the tip of her finger on the corner of her mouth.

"My evening is most certainly open. Where did you have in mind?

She steps in a little closer, getting withing Ryuji's intimate space, the question ending with a small purr.

"The Yogo I am speaking of is married into the Scorpion. She was an Otomo and she shares our views."

Ryuji met eyes, giving her a come hither look. When she was closer he moved to her left ear and whispered.

"Sushi, fruit, plum wine...something simple, and the pleasure of one another's company this evening."

Mei listens with a smile and then exposes the nape of her neck as she closes her eyes and turns her head slowly in reply.

"That sounds lovely."

"Is there any more you wish to discuss about the direction of our empire? Any tasks you may wish to be completed that require a special hand?"

"There is much more we can discuss over dinner and as for special tasks, well...this may not be the most prudent of places to...well, we can also go over that later. In the meantime let's keep our eyes and ears open. Things are always happening and it is best to be prepared."
