Chen had set up some makeshift targets behind the dojo at various distances and positioned so that any wildly missed shots wouldn't cause any damage or hurt anyone.

Shooting outside was nice, it replicated actual conditions for firing a bow plus the weather was good for it.

Chen strung his yumi and began practicing rhythmic shots at various targets. They were in a war and under siege he would need to practice firing at will and separate targets.
