This time he was more reserved, Bayushi swordsmen were fast he needed to play defensively until he had a chance to pierce his opponent's quick defenses.

When Chen took his stance the Shosuro danced. A whirl at his opponent. The deception and deadly grace of the Bayushi style hid the Shosuro's weapon from view as his back went to Chen. When he faced his fellow Scorpion again, the weapon lashed out swiftly, inflicting a telling hit through the target's defense.

The bokken cracked like a whip in Chen's ribs, stealing his breath.

Chen felt the bokken crack into his ribs and felt the air leave his body. He couldn't catch his breath properly and held up his hand backing away "The contest is yours shosuro-san."

He took a deep breath holding his hands over his head "So thats the famed Bayushi technique, I can see why it is so fearsome it would take a great fighter to push through such a strike."

He bowed to Chen. "Though more important, your footwork was familiar to me, Bayushi-san. It gave me an edge."

"True, theoretically I should be familiar with some of yours though my training with the Bayushi was limited, I watched many of them. I can respect the philosophy behind it, strike first, strike hard, and debilitated your opponent." Chen said getting the wind back in his lungs finally.
