“Grass… oats, fruits, lots of things horses like, somethings they like that are not good for them. You do not have tiny ponies like other clans? I’ve shat out bigger than the ponies you lot ride.”

"Oh..." she murmured at first, admittedly looking forward to getting a horse, even if she didn't know what she would do with one. However, she straightened her shoulders and nodded at the Unicorn as if she had known that was the intent all along. "Oh, of course, Unicorn-san...I never meant to take your ancestral steed. I don't know what is customary in the Unicorn but your services seemed like a gift and I will accept."

Once she got on the horse, she felt very strange sitting atop a living and breathing animal. She didn't know how to adjust properly and merely put her palms down on the steed's back while sitting up. "...okay...We do, no doubt. They probably aren't see much in the highlands and mountains, at least where I'm from."

“You live in the high mountains?” he asked curiously as he waited for her to get situated. “Hard to breathe high up in the mountains, or so I hear. Also very cold.”

“Marry a Unicorn and you can have all the Horses you like, my mother gave my father three horses and eight goats as a wedding gift. Bashiru was sired from that brood, good stock, strong legs. A little arrogant and smug, but strong horses,” he continued.

She was as situated as she was going to be as a first time horse-rider, doing her best to not just roll off the horse accidentally. At the mention of mountains, she did feel like she was keeping her balance on one at the present. "It is cold...it would be still snowing this season. Perhaps if you climb up to where there is snow all year, you might find it harder to breath there."

She blushed faintly at the mention of marriage. "I see...that's something to keep in mind. I am unsure if that is something that would come up on my path."

As the horse began to move, she did her best to turn around and it did look awkward when she did so while doing her best to keep balance. She dipped her head twice at both Miwako and Yuko in thanks for their aid. While she was being taken away on a horse, she did hope to speak to them at another time.

She turned back around and tried to keep herself balanced. "...I follow the path of Enlightenment, which will require me to sacrifice things most would consider luxuries and comforts. It will require me to dedicate myself to honing my sword and maintain my inner balance. I am young but I don't fully know what will be required of me and as such there are many things I won't assume will just happen because it is the norm."

She continued on, only occasionally glancing at Lord Moon.

"Enlightenment? That's a big goal, are you a monk? You have more hair than most monks I have heard of," he responded.

"It is a beautiful moon tonight, Lord Moon can sometime be kind," says Yuko. "I would not mind any aid in these trying times."

I don't you need to be a monk to seek Enlightenment, especially when its pursuit is really universal and its realization is not restrictive. You perhaps have more dedication and time devoted to it as a monk, I will concede to that."

A small distance away, Mei was watching the scene atop Ti-Lu, paying particular attention to Kitsu Izumi. Seeing that there were plenty of healers, she gives them time to do their work and one finished, she rides slowly up.

"What has happened here?"

She asks coldly.

Batzurig continued to guide the horse as he replied, "So how you go about finding enlghtenment? Only ever heard of monks staring off meditating in deep deserts or high mountains finding such truths."

"That is perhaps one way...or at least a stepping stone. The truth is that there are multiple ways to Enlightenment, if there was only one way then everyone would be able to achieve it. It is perhaps more akin to a mountain where you could easily be taught to take a certain path and climb the few rocks...then scale the cliff...however, how you get to the peak is entirely up to the individual," she nodded surely at that example.

She sighed softly before continuing. "I...admit I'm not seeking it directly at the moment. I am still working on perfecting my form and aiding my sensei in teaching others. There are some of us who take to wandering the land in search of Enlightenment, as it is often both experience and broadening our horizon that we're able to find our own path. Me being here is only the first step to a potentially greater journey."

"We have treated Kitsu-sama and Mirumoto-sama for there wounds, Miya-sama." Miwako explained. "Now we are escorting them to a place to rest and recover. Moto-San is helping Mirumoto-sama return to the Dragon Embassy. We intend to bring Kitsu-sama to the castle."
