The Moto bushi shrugged, he didn't care much for their loyalties but he did seem annoyed that his cousin had been attacked. He said, "I will stay alert for these enemies and kill them for attacking our kin."

"I do not believe this man to be enemy, more...opportunist. However, I have hopefully shown him the error of his ways" Akemi lowered her head respectfully to Batzurig "and now that Sidi Bahzuling is here, it would take a foolish soul indeed to try and attempt something."

As the Unicorn discuss matters with themselves, a fair skinned and delicate looking woman rides slowly up to them and then stops her horse and gives a nod to all.

"So, is this where they are having us stable our horses?"

The Unicorn bushi looked at the Imperial and said, “Who you be stranger? If you need help with your horse we can oblige if you come as friend, but we are not stable hands. You stand among the Unicorn, past and present.”

“Maybe they have room for you at the castle?” he added helpfully.

She says and then her voice brightens to something friendly.

"I believe I will be staying at the Crane Embassy, though I appreciate your concern. I was told that there were stables around here and when I saw the gathering I thought this may be it. It is a pleasure to meet you all this morning, and I apologize for my assumption. It has been a year since I was with your people and have not had many interactions since. Still catches me off guard."

She shifts a little on the back of her horse, but does not try to dismount. She does ease the reigns however and allow the horse to rest a bit.

Ti-Lu bends her neck down to the street and searches for something green.

"Ah, well sayyeda you are welcome,” he responded and then once satisfied she was not a threat, he stepped aside for the Crane born Moto as this seemed more her area than his.

“Moto Batzurig,” he added crossing his arms across his chest.

"There are stables in the city, but they are further down a ways," Monkhbaatar says with a bow to the Imperial. "I am Doji Monkhbaatar."

Akemi did indeed move forward, bowing to the Imperial woman. Looking more Crane than Unicorn, despite her Unicorn mons.

"Good morning Miya-sama. I hope you are well? Welcome to the Unicorn embassy. If you wish your horse to stay at our stables we would be happy to welcome her among ours. Our kin often look after our own horses personally though, so you may need to do the same."

She smiled.

"I am Moto Akemi."

At the Moto's comment, Monkhbaatar simply thought how much he missed the straightforward nature of Batzurig's family. Even among the Unicorn they were far less likely to mince words. That's the way his father did it and propriety be damned, he appreciated it. But he also knew that the rest of the Empire didn't work that way.

"You'll likely want to keep her closer at hand anyway. If something happens where you need her, but you find out that some panicking stable hand fled and left her to fend for herself..."

"I honestly just stop by the stables to feed Meushi, but she is well trained enough that she'll rest by the embassy building without any concern. I'm sure if you tied up your mount next to her in the evenings she'd be comfortable and calm enough with another horse near by."

Me rolls her shoulders in a stretch.

"Are there many of the Unicorn here in Nikesake?"

“Enough,” Batzurig replied. “Not all are here at the embassy, not enough room but we see to our own. Are you looking for someone specific, sayyeda?”

"No, just curious. Your people mostly all left the Empire strangely, so I was wondering how many stayed behind"

"Sidi" Akemi had her fan out, shaking her head at Batzurig "allow me."

She stepped forward, bowing to the Miya.

"Forgive me Miya-sama, however the reason for the Unicorns travels are not to be openly shared. If you wish to stable your horse here with us you may, although you will need to tend to her yourself as I mentioned. The Unicorn would never turn away a member of the Imperial families."

If Batzurig was annoyed he did not show it, instead silently ate his jerky looking at the Miya.
