"The Dragon..." Poemu trailed off. There was a part of her that didn't truly understand the clan of her birth, but perhaps that was the answer to itself. "The Dragon were founded by Togashi-Kami. He did not ask for any followers, like most of the other Kami did. Those that came with him came of their own volition. He had wished to retreat to the mountains to meditate on what he knew and learned, and those that came with him were much of the same."

She paused a long moment. "...I would not say the Dragon are a clan of inaction, but instead that we have always been ones to want to know the truth before acting. For much of the history while your clan was gone, the Dragon stayed in the mountains, rarely interacting with Rokugan. These times seem different, but even still, we think on matters before going into them, because that is what we've always done."

A more bashful smile touched Poemu's lips at the question. "I confess, I am not a deep thinker myself. Not that I don't try, but I tend to come to quicker conclusions than the average Dragon. I think most are still weighing the situation, especially those of the Togashi, but I am fairly certain that I support the Empress without question."
