If I have Kodama join into a thread w/combat, how do you want to handle the kiho Destiny's Strike? As Two or more attacks directed at him might get interrupted if the one of the first hits and he gets to make an immediate counter attack before a later one, that might stop the later attacks from happening/having same dicepool?

We will deal with that bridge when we come to it, but basically it will work as written.

Would spending Void to activate Kiho as a Free Action be fine then? And also using Void on the roll?

Normally only Brotherhood Schools can benefit from bypassing the once per round of Void Point use, as activating Kiho counts as activating School Techniques for them, but we're not in rounds as such... :?

Free Action is fine.

And yup, activation won't count towards 1/round due to it being a school tech.

Basically, 3k1 after you make a Defense roll, regardless of outcome.

You have to succeed at three rolls to make it back to the castle, but if you zoom ahead and roll all three at once, you can't go back to rescue someone that falls.

In Standard of Living, I've made 2 running rolls, Wasako has made 1. Can I make another attempt before she does to see if I make it or not?

If they get 2/3 of the way, and considering it would be visible from the walls, is there any chance of a mini-sortie breaking out to rescue/retrieve them, or perhaps to distract the enemy long enough to give them a bonus to their rolls to escape?

Basically, if they get most of the way and they're a stone's throw away from the gates, can anyone go out to help them?

1. Do people who are already Kolat have to roll?

2. Would people with Lore: Kolat be able to pierce together it's Kolat-infused, and/or gain a bonus to the brainwashing roll?

During the First Blood event, you said that Jiujutsu was a weapon skill. For schools that say 'any one weapon skill' as one of the skills, does this also count? Aka, can you take Jiujutsu as your weapon skill?

Not a question per se, but something I found while digging in rules for my own game:

Source: AEG Errata:

Page 138, Matsu Beastmaster: Their Rank 4 technique allows their warcats to make claw attacks as a Simple Action. This seemingly contradicts the 4th Edition Core rulebook which already lists lions as being able to make claw attacks as Simple Actions. The reason for the discrepancy is play-balance – allowing the Beastmasters’ warcats to start play with Simple Action attacks makes them overly powerful compared to other characters. Thus, for the purpose of game balance, Matsu warcats (as opposed to wild lions) are assumed to only be able to make claw attacks with a Complex Action until they are sufficiently trained.

1) Yup, if they're watching.

2) You can make a TN 25 Lore: Kolat roll to realize that something weird is going on. The Kolat are not more resistant to Dream's brainwashing (less so, if anything).

No.

It's a weapon skill in the sense of I should type out "[Weapon Skill or Juijutsu]/Agility" instead of just "[Weapon Skill]/Agility."
