The Crane's Gift Shrine and the Phoenix Blessing Shrine are two joint shrines located just outside the city, honoring both the Crane and the Phoenix. It was said that as long as the shrines stood, there would always be peace between the two Clans.

The Crane's Gift Shrine has a shrine to Asahina at its center, and another shrine to the Fortune of Redemption. When the Phoenix controlled the city, it was a popular pilgrimage for Crane lovers.

The Phoenix Blessing Shrine is an ornate shrine built in the style popular in the 4th century. It contains dozens of smaller shrines dedicated to the Fortunes and Phoenix ancestors. When the Phoenix controlled the city, it was a popular stop for shugenja and those who sought the Fortunes' blessings.
