"Oh, it's nothing too terrible, and likely not something that would concern Isawa-san," Sukekage replies quickly. "I had a bit of an...artistic conflict with Shiba-san's wife, that's all. Hopefully it won't color any interactions I would have with Isawa-san."

"The road south to the capital leads through this city," Sukekage notes grimly. "If the usurper would take the throne, he will pass through here, or risk his army traveling cross-country through potentially hazardous lands. No, I do believe we will have to hold the line here."

"I can see little other choice," Sukekage replies, shrugging, "and the Lion are prepared to make a stand regardless. All I can truly do is prepare to stand with them, and perhaps see to the safety of those who cannot fight."
