She quickly lowered her head and lifted a hand to gently wave in front of herself. "Iie, iie. I would be a poor opponent for someone so skilled. Perhaps one day after I improve my technique, ne?" Maiya hastily says to excuse herself.

"Ano, actually, I wanted to ask where you were staying Mirumoto-sama?"

"Oh...I am currently staying at the Dragon embassy, I suppose. They have been very kind to offer us room and board on such short notice...and especially at such a time. I assume you're staying in the Crab embassy, Kaiu-san?"

"Ano, iie. I'm staying with my cousin at an inn not quite so close to the city centre." Maiya answered honestly.

"I should probably go check up on her..."

"Oh," she said nodding about the inn. They were perhaps more Crab already in the city than there were Dragons, it seemed likely. Then again, they were also coming back from an occasional trip. "I shall keep that in mind, Kaiu-san. I admit I don't know if I would find this inn if I wish to seek you out...there is more than one inn in the city, right?"

Horonigai nods and ping-pongs back at their exchange. Finding a spot, she replies, "It would be an honor to spar, Kaiu-san! Whenever you feel ready."

She bows again, excusing for having to leave a earlier, "Ne, osakini, minna-san. Shitsurei shimasu. Thanks for the spar. If I can be of help, you know my name."

Then, she starts to get her stuff to leave. There's a last bow at the door with the farewell. "SAYOUNARA. ARIGATOU GOZAIMASHITA!"

Wasako smiles at Horonigai's exuberance and bowed deeply in return. "Hai, we do know it fully after today. Have yourself a pleasant day, Seppun-sama. Carry the Fortunes."

"Hai." Maiya gave the name while also mentioning they did great meals.

She pauses as the Seppun gave her goodbyes. "Thank you too Seppun-sama. Sayonara."

Bowing to the Imperial's departing form she only slowly lifts herself up when the woman is gone. She then lets out a deep, deep breath and her shoulders drop a good half an inch.

"High ranking Imperials are distressing..."

"...They are?" she said curiously at first as she gave a glance back to make sure that the Seppun wasn't there anymore if they were going to start gossiping. "I suppose they are! I mean, they should be, from what I've heard. However, I can't say that Seppun-sama seems to demand that sort of behaviour from us. Unless...we've mistaken her enthusiasm for something else entirely."

It made her wonder if her enthusiasm was actually supposed to be taken as a demand to be feared.

"... She seems okay. Maybe nice. I'm not sure. I suppose I'm just wary of Imperials with high status. Heard a lot of stories. Even my sensei said to be careful. That they can bring about your ruin."

She shrugs as she lets it go.

"She was enthusiastic though, ne? That was a surprise to see." And hear. "Say, would you show me where your embassy is Mirumoto-sama? Is it on Friendship Street?"

"Mm," she murmured as she placed a hand to her chin in thought, wondering if her sensei had told her the same thing. It probably wasn't on top of her list, not at least compared to not poke the wrong Lion. "Perhaps something to keep in mind at least. I don't think stories are told without a good reason."

"Hai, it's of no surprise she graduated top of her peers." That, her status and her relationship, she supposed.

"It is and I'd be happy to show you. I think Agasha Poemu-sama might know the embassy best, however. I try to not get in the way of the Dragon diplomats in the area."

This made her laugh slightly. "And I try not to get in the way of any diplomats!" She declared with a wry smile. "Ja, please do show me which building it is. Thank you."
