She seemed happy as she slowly turned back, and reached for her sake cup.

Sara frowned, and leaned closer to Sukima. "Or did you have a different meaning in mind?"

"..." She blinked, turned red, then nodded. "I just misheard at first."

She let out a breath after a moment. "I know. I'm just... used to being alone. Sometimes it's hard to remember that I'm not."

"Ah, it happens." She smiled at Sukima. "Sometimes something out of the ordinary can provide a great strain. I am not used to being outshone by another samurai-ko" she spread her hands "but here I am, marveling at your beauty Suki-sama."

"Oh, Suki-sama thinks so? I'm so glad." She smiled reached for her sake, taking a sip.

When putting the cup down, she looked deeply into Suki's eyes.

"Would Suki-sama like a massage?"

Suddenly, a shape hurls itself through the paper wall and into Sukima's room. It lands, rolls into a somersault, and regains its footing in a kneeling position.

It seems to be a woman, though her face is obscured behind... no, it wasn't a mask, just a bunch of ink that had been applied to her face to look like a mask. Her kimono was dark black, but upon closer examination, it appears to have once been red, before someone spilled a great deal of ink on it.

"My lady!" the woman cries out, her eyes wide and unfocused. "The caterpillars are coming for you! We must get you to the moon before you begin to pupate, or all is lost!"

All Sukima can do is stare for a moment before finally settling on, "What the fuck?"

Sara jumped up, and drew her knife...unsure what good will it do.

"Are you....okay?"

"Hurry!" She rushes to one wall, pulls out a vial of ink, dips her fingers into it, and draws a crude window on the paper wall, complete with a tiny moon and clouds in the distance.

Stepping back, she regards the two women with an intense look. "Through the window! There is no time! They seek to milk the queen!" There's a vague gesture towards Sukima with the ink pot-filled hand, which splashes ink onto the woman's hand and the floor.

"Milk the-" Sukima sighed and rubbed her forehead with her clean hand, then squinted, trying to make out the mons on her kimono. Failing that, she looked to Sara. "Can you make out her mons? We need to get her home."

She smiled at the newcomer. "We'll come, but we might know a shortcut, okay?"

Sara eyed the woman in front of her, and confidently stepped forward.

"I think something is wrong here Suki-sama..."

She turned towards Miwako. "You fool! The witch-king is scrying our moon portals!"

"The moon portals?!" The woman threw her bottle of ink at the wall (and through it, spraying ink all across Bayushi Chen's room on the other side) and stepped up to Sara, her eyes wide.

"I will relay word to the sky hive." She reaches up, placing an ink-splattered hand on Sara's cheek. "By the bees, you've saved us all, Guliver."

Then she goes in for the dramatic movie hero kiss.

"That's why I asked about her mons, she needs to go back home," she said with a sigh. "Red kimono and she's not one of ours... Phoenix? Praying she's wearing her Clan colors?"

Sara stoically accepted the ink kiss from the crazed...whatever she was, accepting the movie kiss wth actress grace, leaning into her arms.

"Quickly, you must hide. They are tracking your element, your fire is leaking!"

Further nonsense would hopefully calm her down.

"Then there is no time!" She all but drops Sara from her arms. "My queen! We must hurry to the moon bridge!"

She grabs Sukima's arm and charges through the paper wall with the drawn window.

"Kami!" Sukima finds herself stumbling through the paper wall. "Wait, let's take my route. I have a secret passage," she said, trying to lead Miwako into the hallway.
