The Shakanar had heard of the army coming. That there were those that would be going forth to meet them. He had sent word, to those who would face the heaviest resistance that he would be here. He was carrying what looked to be a spear, wrapped in cloth. He was dressed as normal, but his eyes carried a heavy weight. There would be those who would not survive this day. He was not a warrior, but if he could adjust their harmony, just a little, to make them more likely to survive......that would be enough he hoped. And so he waited, and as he waited he practiced, leaving the spear wrapped. His form was basic, but he knew what he was about, and he was in decent shape. Not a warrior, but he knew what to do to not die instantly on a battlefield.

It was almost an accident. He hadn't even heard of the gathering. But Isawa Hachi had come to the dojo to make sure that the area had been cleansed after the fighting the day before. He is able to offer a few blessings on those going to fight.

While he is only at first slightly able, he calls on the earth kami. They balk once, but he continues to request their aid.

And then pushes his efforts to do so again. Pushing his ability to it's utmost.

Have to head to work. But I have 5 Earth's Touch buffs that will last into the next timeslot by an hour. Claim them as needed! They will raise either your Stamina or your Willpower, but not your Earth ring!

Chihaya, armored for battle, paused by the dojo.

Offering a quick prayer at the shrine, she padded inside, lost in thought.

Bowing once to the naga, she moved to a corner of the dojo, drawing her blade slowly and then beginning a leisurely kata, warming up and stretching in preparation for battle to come.

It was a good time to focus her mind, and think about her technique.

Eika strapped on the last of her armor and began a careful inspection of her warcats. Check the teeth, the paws, no scrapes... Prime condition, as always. Seiji chuffed at this, and batted a paw at her. "You look good!"

Kaori spots the other lions and bounds over nuzzle at Kamu. Seiji and Eika jog behind to greet their fellow beastmaster. "We're as ready as we can be. How about you guys?" She holds out her hand for Erina's lions to sniff.

Shakanar smiled as more gathered, and he'd start to mingle, just listening, both to what people spoke of, and to the underlying harmony, seeking to correct that if at all possible....

(In case i doze off before things are set up, giving out the following
spending 2 harmony to give 1 harmony to each of the following
Kaiu Maiya
Kaiu Amaya
1 each to the 3 people going on the Gank Squad thread other then Kashiwagi
leaves me with 1 left to either give to someone going on the Bull mission, or 1 to one of the other people going on the tsuno mission

These harmony points spend exactly like void, and grant me +2k1 on any social skill rolls against you till they are spent)

Turning up in her full armour and carrying all her weapons, Kaiu Maiya immediately noticed how busy the dojo and it's surroundings were. Who wouldn't notice? She tried to find a relatively quiet spot to watch and listen after giving those assembled a slight bow.

Mogami walks slowly through the crowd before stopping at the front of the dojo, overlooking everyone. She clears her throat to gain their attention and speaks in a steady, calm, and firm voice.

"Shall we allow our audacious enemies to violate with impunity the territory of the Empire? Will you allow the Steel Chrysanthemum and his forces to make mockery of our history? You are all Samurai, so you will not. March, then, to meet him. Tear from his brows the laurels he has won. Teach the world that a malediction attends those that violate the mandate of Heaven! The result of our efforts will be unclouded glory, and a durable peace."

Hearing many of the samurai ready for battle were getting things prepped at the dojo, Horonigai appears in her battle regalia, bowing in honor of the sacred place, and to others gathered.

She bows, sharply, announcing herself:

"KONNICHIWA. SEPPUN HORONIGAI-DESU. HOUSE OF THE ABDICATORS. MIHARU FROM THE SEPPUN GUEST HOME DOJO. YOROSHIKU ONEGAISHIMAAAAAAAASU!"

And spotting the Kaiu moves over to her. "Excuse me, Kaiu-sama, but might you help this one assemble a working set of armor from what is available here?"

He looked to each of them, eyes holding a fierce pride. That others will be inspired by your example, and will rise up to strike down those that you couldn't. That the empire WILL be safe again. It will be ruled by honor, and not brutality. That Our peoples will stand strong, and will recover from this."

There was no way he'd be heard over all the declarations and high words of the crowd, and he was fine with that. Though the Shosuro did offer the Seppun a bow.
