You're right as far as 'official' husbands/wives go however. Just one. Except the Unicorn, which are... unique? They may have multiple husbands/wives according to at least one canon source:

Rule from horseback mentions a female Moto having two husbands and a wife :lol:

Of course, that could just be a weird Moto thing!
