Seitouna presses a hand to his chest.

"My dear Shosuro-san, you wound me. As if time in the company of such a person as yourself is not reward enough! Whatever ulterior motive could I have?"

"You could try stealing my mask for wearing. It is a magnificent mask, after all." She looked back at him.

"A samurai should not fear wounds in the service of their lord."

"A samurai is also honest, of course, and I cannot fail to note that you touched me tenderly.

"But I would not take your mask, of course. I could not wear it so well as you. Besides," and his smile stretches with overt joy, "I could not bear to hide this face from the world!"

He laughs at the jest, perhaps just a touch too loudly. But only a touch.

Sara smiled. "It would certainly be a loss of Ningen-Do, if you were to hide your face." She looked into his eyes, deeply. "I wonder who would be the villain to hide it for you though..."

There are places I could stand to hide my face right now, he thinks as he looks back into her eyes.

"Perhaps that is another matter we could discuss, delightfully, in the afternoon."

"Oh? You are so mysterious Kasuga-san." She pouted. "You just don't want to tell me anything, neh?"

"My dear, you know the maxim: 'Show, don't tell.' And showing needs a different scene than this."

Again, he looks a bit about.

"Though I can say that I have seen wonders on the sea, indeed. The glowing waters in the night, and, far away north, lights in the heavens that are neither star nor storm, but sheets of incandescent iridescence, falling like rivers from cliffs unseen.

"Though there are wonders and beauties here I had not thought to glimpse."

Sara smiled. "You are quick with words Kasuga-san. Those do sound like wonders of the world though, and good on you for noticing them! Not everyone does, some ignore the beauty in our realm. Such a foolish view."

She shook her head and took another long sip of tea.

"I've been told I do well with my tongue," he replies. "And I wonder if it might be that we could look for such beauties together."

Another smile.

"It is far better to do such searching with a companion than alone, after all, and far more satisfying."

He picks up his cup again, as well.

"Oh? A companion. hm..." she seemed deep in thought. "Perhaps I can ask one of the Lion to join me..." she faked distraction for a moment, before glancing back. "Or did you have someone specific in mind, Kasuga-san?"

Sara giggled. "Well, perhaps a foul villain, or a maho-tsukai, or a ghost fro mgaki-do. Though if I can charm a ghost, that is certainly something, neh?"

She smirked, flicked her hair. "You seem to have specific ideas Kasuga-san."

The lift of his lip can only be called salacious as he replies "A writer always does, though a good writer attends to a good editor's suggestions, as well.

"And I try to be as good with a pen, dipped into an inkwell, as with my tongue."

She smirked.

"Oh? How blessed you are." She smirked, idly playing with her sweets, before placing one in her mouth, and slowly biting on it.

Seitouna's eyes are drawn to the motions of her hands, her lips. The tip of his tongue touches the corner of his mouth for the barest moment, and he coughs slightly, shifting in his seat just a bit.

"I count myself fortunate, yes."
