"Thank you Doji-San, that is much appreciated." She nodded to her newest cousin as he dealt with the matter of Koushi's body.

Tetsuko then bowed deeply to the Asako and the Otomo as they agreed to accompany her. Kashiwagi's gesture did not go unnoticed and a flicker of respect crossed her face. "Thanks to you both."

Turning to face the Matsu she stared coolly at the woman. Yet when she spoke it was almost pleasant. "Matsu-sama. You may wish to inform the Governor that the Crane ambassador has a message for her. I have sworn to deliver it in person and in my Clan colours, so I will do so once these affairs are in order. You may wish to arrange an armed escort to accompany me to the castle, extend my invitation to the Governor to meet me here, or attempt to murder me as Ikoma Hiroya murdered Kakita Airi. The first two options are perhaps preferable, but a samurai does not fear death."

Offering a polite bow she returned her attention to her guests. "Gentlemen, please, if you would come with me."

"If the Governor wills to meet you, Daidoji-san, a lawful way shall be found." The magistrate replied stoically, having already reconciled with what immediate future was likely to hold for her.

"A samurai doesn't fear death indeed. But Courage is not the only tenet of Bushido, and a murderer crying foul about a contrived prospect of being murdered may not be consistent with others. Your honour is your own, however. I've just witnessed how a Crane can skilfully juggle with theirs." She remained where she was.

Moving to the embassy at a brisk pace, Monkhbaatar got a few servants to help with moving Koushi's body to somewhere it could rest. When he returned he was in his armor and had his gear. He went to Meushi and did as he said he would, posting at the gate. Stoic Monkhbaatar was not the usual Monkhbaatar, but that was what he was now.

"Crane-sama," Tsukimi finally spoke up as it seemed the situation had calmed down to the only point it could. It had not been right for her to speak up earlier, with so many high-ranking samurai present now.

"I... if there is anything I can do to help, please let me know." She bowed deeply.

Chihaya simply folded her hands in her sleeves, watching in silence as the event's fallout began - this would not end here.

Such events had before caused blood feuds that lasted generations... likely this would as well.

Looking to Tsukimi, he nods in thanks. "I mean.. there's not much to do at this point that isn't already done. I appreciate the sentiment though."

"I know..." she nodded, ashamed that there was nothing she could've done to prevent this tragedy. When situation had escalated it into bloodshed, it had been far too late for her to step in.

She knew Kashiwagi was a priest, so he could probably assist with some of the rites needed for purification and cleansing. "... I'll... fetch the eta for you, to help clean up this mess. And I'll let the Dragon ambassador know of what happened."

"The eta are already sent for," he replies with a nod of thanks. "They'll be out momentarily. They are simply gathering what they need to take care of the body."

A few moments later, as if on cue, a couple eta come to the gates with a large cloth and rigid support to move the body with. They go about the business of wrapping Koushi and before moving him.

"It's nothing you need to feel concerned over it. There was no stopping this incident after it had already started. And nobody was around to prevent it from starting. All those present at the start of it are dead."
