"Un!" She nods. "I confirm then, that your skills are masterful. Although I cannot consider myself common people, you've helped."

Horonigai gets curious, "What's this thing with Dragon samurai and the common people?"

Poemu looked a bit curious before shaking her head. "I am not certain that was a thing, though perhaps it has to do with the Dragon having so few samurai and the difficulty of life in the Dragon mountains. My own views come from my Miya training however, not my family or clan. The Miya see their duty as compassion to all of Rokugan, and the Miya's Blessing is for all people after all."

"I see." Horonigai smiles on hearing Poemu's description of the Miya. "Is there much of a difference between the Miya and the Agasha?"

"That is hard for me to say. I suppose the easy answer would be that they are like night and day. The Miya are courtiers who live on flatlands, ride horses, do not speak with the kami, are not part of a Great clan... while the Agasha are shugenja for the most part, living in the mountains, and part of a more spiritual clan."

She paused, to smile faintly. "That said, I believe both my family and the former family of my husband both appreciate compassion, and see the common people as deserving of respect, more so than most samurai families."

"Sodesuka?" She asks, startled. "More so than most Families..."

Horonigai puts a finger on her chin, "Which Families are these, that antagonize the Miya and Agasha so much?"

Looking a touch puzzled, Poemu shook her head. "Antagonize, Seppun-sama? Iie, that was not the intent of my words. The Agasha have had some troubles with the Kasuga after the winter court we held, but I can think of none otherwise. And for the Miya, I know of none that do not get along with."

She nods, and raises an eyebrow at the mention of the Kasuga. "Shitsurei, ne, Agasha-san. I'm not much familiar with the Agasha, or the Dragon. I hope I don't bother you anymore asking silly questions."

And she does as said, for now.

Poemu smiled in the darkness, and her tone was warm. "There are no silly questions Seppun-sama. We learn by asking. In truth, the Seppun and Agasha have been on difficult terms since that court as well. That is in part why I was an ambassador to the Imperial families at Morikage Toshi."

Smiling faintly, Poemu reached out and gave one of Horonigai's hands a squeeze. Perhaps the Imperial girl was tired, or thoughtful. She decided to not say anything else, riding in silence.
