It is I who has devoted my life to this pursuit and all the time spent on it benefits me each and every moment and such I would delight in in until your body were covered," she smiled to touch on the humorously exaggerated suggestion.

He chuckled slightly at that. "I don't mind spending the time Togashi-sama, something worthwhile should never be rushed after all."

"Though I'll have to spend some time working towards deeds worth recording if I want more of them portrayed on my skin."

"Hai," she said with a quick nod, "for most, I set up for a visit as schedules allow. Whenever you might have time for the work I would suggest you send for me Mantis-sama."

"I will do just that then." He repleid with a nod, glancing over for a moment to see if Wasako was comfortablle.

"Since you had an idea then, did you wish to go ahead and get started?" Osamu asked as his gaze returned to Mai.

Wasako was comfortable with her water and snacks. "How long would something like that take exactly? It sounds like quite the project...and would you even be able to sleeve your arm during the process?"

"May, I would instruct Mantis-sama to take great care to disturb the tattoo as long as possible. Such a detailed tattoo as his will take many hours and certainly would not all be done on one day, but if we begin.." she shook her head at the thought. It was far outside of her character to think such things let alone comment on them.

"As for getting started," she rose from her seat and collected her things, "I would be most happy to begin for you Mantis-sama."

Osamu nodded and began to slip out of the top of his kimono, there was little need to strip completely for something like this. "Yes, I'll have to be careful while it's still healing, but I will do my best not to disturb it too much."

Finding herself a place that was open enough to occupy two and that would have the space available she looked to Osamu, "May, if you would wish laying here would be best that I may yet work on the arm with the least drain on your stamina, Mantis-sama."

With a glance elsewhere she looked to some of the cushions and pillows about the room but made no move for them. Merely, a suggestion by the glance.

Collecting a few of the cushions, Osamu made himself way over, placing a few down so he could make himself comfortable during the process.

"Lay dow on my back, correct?" He asked as he moved to do just that.

Wasako perked up slightly and straightened in her seat so that she could get a good angle on watching the work done, moving if she needed to.

Of course, tattoos weren't just drawn onto skin like it was a canvas. It was likely she needed a strong stomach for what would come. She finished her next piece of rice cake and gulped it down with water.

"Hai,if that is how you feel most comfortable. However, it might be best that you lay on your back that your arm is of free access as you wish," she said, unsealing the ink pots and cleaning the needles. Laying out a cloth for her needles to lay on, to brush off his arm, and to clean the tools later.

"Do you also make your own inks as well or are they procured from somewhere?" she asked curiously as she got a view of Mai's entire tattooing kit.

Osamu nodded, trying to position himself as she directed. She'd need plenty of room to work after all. For the time being he let the ladies do the talking though.

"I make my own," she said, taking a look at Osamu's arm and getting a feel for how she should position herself accordingly. "Often I would have a need for it that I could not find supply for otherwise. It is not a commonly made product in most of the Empire. At least, not unless I put much effort into finding one who would be willing to grant me some."

"Are you ready for me to begin, Mantis-sama?" she broke from the conversation for a quick moment to confirm.

"I am, Togashi-sama." He replied from where he lay, waiting for her to begin. The conversation would likely serve as a good distraction from the multitude of punctures he was about to receive.

"It would make sense to work with what you're most comfortable with, especially when it's something you even use yourself. Tattooing would leave no room for mistakes...Are you only able to practice on people or is there another mean of doing this?"

"There are methods of practice, but none that match working with an individual. There was a time when I would use myself as practice, and that is where some of my art comes from," she said, but was occupied with taking Osamu's arm firmly in hand and putting the needle against his skin. Starting a rocking process with her needle arm which brought the needles in and out, leaving the ink behind.

There was much ink left over from the process and vision of the skin was obscured, but she was focused on her task. When the build up got too much, she took the cloth and wiped it away.

Her curiosity got the better of her, especially given the current situation with Osamu already laying down, and she asked the following question, "...And how do you manage with mistakes?"

Osamu let his eyes close, and began taking slow even breaths as the Togashi began her work. There was pain of course, how couldn't there be? It was nothing he couldn't push to the back of his head though. Especially if he concentrated on the voices of the two women in the room.

"May, it is best yet that I first do not offer myself the chance for mistakes but even a mistake may yet be turned to something. In this art it is important to not cause undue stress to the one of whom you work upon, and as such oft I would take to mind how I might else-wise incorporate this mistake into the larger piece," she answered.
