She nodded on that note with a small smile. After a pause, she asked out of genuine curiosity and concern, "Ano, since Agasha-sama is very versed in geography...Is the Imperial Capital far from here?"

Poemu looked thoughtful at the question before responding hesitantly. "Ano... I suppose that depends on what Mirumoto-san considers far. It is not too far compared to travel to Dragon lands, but to one that has never left Nikesake, it must seem quite far indeed."

'' Well...etoo...'' Nagiko doesn't know how to start this conversation without sounding like a crazy woman. '' I have the ability to, how to say, separate my body and my soul and travel to other realms...'' She uses her fan to cover part of her lips as she tells Iko.

She covered her mouth and half-whispered to Poemu. "I see, I only wonder in terms of the Steel Chrysanthemum's intended destination...I suppose we do have to consider if there's the possibility if we need to move again?"

"I've no doubt that he will ultimately head to the capitol Mirumoto-san." She gave a small nod at that. "Unless something drastic happens, we will most certainly need to move out again before too long."

If Iko's story was fantastical, this sounded downright insane, but she would not say so to the woman's face.

"That sounds...truly magical Nagiko-san. Would...might it be...possible for one...to witness this?" Her words were hidden behind the teacup she lifted to sip at.

It wasn't what she wanted to hear exactly but that was the very possibility she was considering when she broached the matter with her question. She nodded gravely at that, "I suppose we can only prepare ourselves then, Agasha-sama."

"It seems the proceedings are drawing winding down, here," she said with a bit of uncertainty. Hopefully, court didn't actually take all day. "I should probably make my back to the embassy. Will you be needing an escort, Agasha-sama?"

"Is that what I am doing?" Myo-en casts her friend a curious look. "If this is politics, it seems very different from other courts. The question isn't only about human power and riches..." She chews her lip, thinking. "If the cosmic order is cracked and souls who violate Heaven's judgement walk the human realm slaughtering the blameless, but also samurai are wearing their good clothes and arguing about it, is that still politics?"

'' I have never seen what happens to my body when my soul is detached but since i always 'wake' up in the exact same position as i left it, then i assume it is just me in deep concentration and nothing more.''

"Sadly, we must convince other of what is happening and that is politics . . ." says Kayou with a sigh. "But you spoke well and this one is proud to stand beside you in this cause."

"I need to change my way of thinking about politics, then, maybe," Myo-en admits. "Until now, I thought about it as something human beings, do to compete for wealth and worldly power. Cruel sometimes for those caught below, even a ruiner of souls, but... without such high stakes." Like Ryoko Owari three years ago, is the unspoken part of the sentence.

"I hope not too much when it is not vital. It's easier to lose than to gain in those contests." Myo-en's brows draw together "Easy to lose one's way, too. At least in this matter the danger is clear to everyone, even if not all agree about what to do."
