Ryuji allowed a smile but for a moment. "A good man for a good woman." Ryuji completed his purchase.

"Seppun-sama, would you be so kind as to accompany me? I do have a few more items to pick up and it would be nice to know another kind Seppun."

"Hai. I am very fond of Chyio-san. She spent quite some time with me in Kyuden Suzume." She muses while following Ryuji, not really minding browsing for stuff for longer.

She actually enjoys it. "Ne, Otomo-san. Any other special item?"

"Yes. Just a fan for court. I like to use standard fans. My family heirloom one is kept at home."

Ryuji continued to look over the selections.

"Yes. It is a good match. Both compliment each other well. They are resilient. I am often fond of the resilience of the Seppun family. It is an important trait to have for the duty you all must perform."

"Hai. I also have three different fans to use, depending on how the day is." She shrugs. "I can't say they're standard, though."

Horonigai lowers her eyes as he mentions about the Seppun duty, but follows along.

When they get at the fan vendor shop, she points out. "Otomo-san likes to use which kind of colors?"

"Hmmm..." Ryuji looked over the selection. "I'm fond of white and emerald... You could say I'm somewhat partial to those colors."

"Sodesuka?!" She asks rhetorically and waves with her head for him to follow up. "Here, I was browsing previously, but, well, I thought better not to get yet another fan."

While she waits for the Otomo to check the item, Horonigai asks, "What is Otomo-san doing in Nikesake?"

"Keeping safe mainly." he stated with slight jest. "I was on my way to Winter Court, of course those plans changed."

"Yes, it was fortunate that I was detained by travel. Did you help with the evacuation effort?"

"I did." She thinks carefully on how to explain it. "That's the best I could do. The refugees that came with me from Morikage Toshi all arrived at Toshi no Omodoiso safely."

Horonigai inquires, as the evening lights on the streets are reinforced by the store keepers.

"I am in need of oil for my soul... My mother taught me the words of Lord Akodo,'Keep your sword close and ready and clean.' After that its just some incense and a novel or two to read. I am partial to famous plays."
