"The Hilsilage is more than a name. It is a position which brings harmony from small interactions, helping it grow through cooperation and allocation. In Naga society it is a minor functionary roll, but when you introduce human complexity it becomes larger. My mission is to facilitate harmony and peace. The reduction of uncertainty at large would have greatly helped with that."

He leans his torso back against the side of the bath and tries to collect his thoughts.

"As your Emperor regained his footing after the nefarious attempts to reduce his influence and then eliminate his personage entirely, we hoped for a flourishing of certainty. The murder will accomplish the opposite. All these things are far from my small tasks, but they make each of them much more difficult. Indeed, I have done nothing useful toward my actual goal since the murder.

Again frowning with misery and empathy, again unable to shield it.

Homura, who had given the Snake a bow when he arrived, remained silent with closed eyes. Just listening.

Hearing that they're trying to rebuild was something important to note.

Bathing cleans the mind and soul, but bad thoughts seem to have found The Hilsilage in the bath.
