[D7:LA: Open] Dog teaches dog

Inugami and his companion Sesho, a shiba inu, decided to train on the dojo. He wanted to teach some commands to the dog so it can be prepared to what ever may come.

"Well, Sesho, you have decided to be my sparring companion so... let's see what you can do."

The dog just licked his paw.

Having thoroughly pummelled a training dummy into a dented mess, as was the norm, Maiya set down the heavy bokken she'd used to practice and took some deep breaths. The air inside the dojo wasn't as cold as it had been in the last few weeks. Still chilly, but a good workout had helped her easily withstand that.

She moved to the side of the dojo to finish her routine with some stretches when she noticed the adorable scene of samurai and pet. She watched for a few moments before deciding the man probably wasn't someone important. That was good as it meant she couldn't get in big trouble by saying something stupid to him.

When the dog licked itself she called out in a monotone voice for fun, her right hand by the side of her mouth.

"1-0. Sesho-san is behind after hitting itself. Samurai-sama is in the lead. Can the inu catch up from behind and defeat its master in this touch spar?"

It was far less boring to commentate than just standing around.

Not far away the lion samurai continued his practice hits on the dummy before him. The samurai looked at his body position as well as the distance of his opponent. The bokken of smaller size, simulating the wakizashi instead of the katana, hit the air 2, 3 times, until the lion calculated the distance properly.

He didn't mind the Crab commentary as he looked at the dog. "You are supposed to attack..." The dog pounced on the Shiba trained Isawa making him fall to the ground. "Not like that..." He growled at the dog. Even if he had trained to evade surprise attack the Isawa didn't expect the Shiba Inu to react that way.

"Ara! A surprise attack after being taunted by its owner. The score is 1-1." Maiya commentates in what could charitably be called a humorous voice. She sounded more like a peasant doing a mock impression of a Kabuki narrator.

He took the dog off and settle him on a sit/ stay position. "Maybe is better if you defend." The dog tilted his head. Why would a dog understand a word this human is trying to portray? Sesho barked. "Okay... let's see... dodge!" The dog started jumping from side to side and Inugami tried to kick the dog, failing. The dog ran circles in the dojo, crossing the path of the Kitsu.

This was getting strange, but fun. Maiya stifled a laugh as she watched the dog bound around.

The dog thought it was play. Inugami was starting to get annoyed. "ENOUGH, THIS IS NO GAME." The dog stopped in his track, turned and growled at Inugami. Inugami growled back. It was a battle of who is the alpha dog. A stare down began.

Okay, he seems actually angry. Maiya backed off to leave the samurai and his dog to squabble in their own time. Acting like it was no big deal she returned to the dummies to get in a new repetition of hits.

The battle of whims was won by the human, as the dog left the dojo.The enraged Isawa took out his sword and attacked one of the dummies as he growled trying to let it go.

After some further practice the Crab moved to leave the dojo, bowing to the training space just before she got would step away.
