"Now, now! Don't you go trying to compete with my silver tongue! We're all on the same side here." She gives him a small smile.

"I'm not surprised someone who's going down in storybooks themselves would have a larger view of things than some others. People see some dark clouds and they shout 'rain!' Maybe, but maybe not."

She looks over the group. "I mean, you all just marched for days to be here. If I were to judge you by the look of right now, well, I'd be forced to conclude some unpleasant things. But I know your story, so I know how it came to be this way! You've all got hearts of steel and I can see your honor. Nothing disrespectable about your appearance at all. It makes you as true warriors, and I applaud that."

She gives everyone present a smile.

Kashiwagi's not clear on whether she missed the question, forgot it, or ignored it.

OOC: You've heard of Torii. She talks a bit game and has seemingly boundless energy. She cares about honor and appearances and doesn't like when her authority is questioned... but as long as those things are falling into place, she'll act like everyone's friend. She's fought in some battles, but never earned a lot of reknown as anything other than a storyteller.

He continues to wait. He started to, and he's doubtlessly been seen doing so, and it would be hideously, time-warpingly rude for him to do otherwise than wait until acknowledged or dismissed now.

The Lion governor, used to putting on some performances in the streets of the city, is used to people standing around and looking at her, so it takes her a minute to remember that she isn't, in fact, putting on a show.

Seitouna, acknowledged, approaches and bows deeply. His ditty bag remains in place.

A bit florid, perhaps, he thinks, but many Ikoma go in for that, I'm told, and I can hardly be accused of being impolite.

Homura, knowing the subtle movements of an Otomoshark well, made sure to bow deeply as the man drew close. In case her superior being too busy now meant she had to be the entertainment
