Seitouna sighs just a bit.

"I have the privilege of being kin to the kizoku. This means, of course, that I have the duty of being kin to the kizoku. And that has meant I have had less flexibility than many others in the Clan have had.

"It is a good life. I do not complain--I wish to be clear on that point. But that I do not does not mean I do not recognize limitations."

"Though I will not be offended if there is a baggage wagon, to be sure."

There is a bit of a wry smile at the last, making clear that he speaks mostly in jest. He hopes. And keeping good humor about things makes them easier, does it not?

“If you can find one to rest on, you would be wise to do so. The journey will be exhausting. Drink a lot of water and eat light food, a heavy stomach and long journeys can cause quite a bit of discomfort. Finally, when we reach our destination, if they are available, ask for a geisha to tend your muscles. Massage of the overworked and fatigued muscles will help prevent week long pains and stiffness, as well as promote strength growth.”

"Indeed, though they may have recieved warning already and have better to prepare defenses and get reinforcements. Plus, the samurai traveling there will make a great bolster to their forces, should they wish to conscript them for the defense"

"I believe that Shimizu-sama will order those samurai who have called Toshi no Omoidoso their home to stay here and defend it, as their Duty requires. I am one of those samurai, though I am going to make request that I be permitted to travel along to ensure the safety of the march. Good archers are a blessing from heaven when moving large groups through potentially hostile land."
