"One of his descendants or next incarnations, yes. That would be fitting." Touki frowned. "I'm not sure about showing themselves to everyone else. Would the Kenku hide whenever his descendant came by?"

They walked on, approaching the palace. "But yes. Fate cannot be pushed. Or we do so at our peril." Slowly, Touki nodded. "I expect that may be the lesson."

"I don't know if a kenku would do such things such things to intentionally spite said person or their other selves," she shrugged. "Although, it seems folklore seems to paint a rather strange picture when it comes creatures and fate. Maybe the kenku is always here and is away while the bushi is present, only because the kenku was actually the bushi's post replacement for example..."

She glanced off with a bemused glance to her surroundings, that was an extremely convoluted reason and unlikely possibility.

"This might be the least harsh lesson of pushing fate. Nothing really happened...We are left with a garden to enjoy, meet and have an introspective conversation right now. Then again, nothing happening might be agonizing internally to another."

"A fascinating idea, Mirumoto-sama." Touki said, looking back at her with a hint of a smile. "And as you say, at the very least, we have a beautiful garden and a good conversation."

They arrived at the gates of the keep. Touki stopped. "As to whether punishment or nothing is worse..." He frowned, staring ahead. "That is a question I have not found an answer for."

He shook his head, turning to the others. "We have arrived." He intoned.

A slight frown touched Poemu's mouth for but a moment. She had wished the walk were longer. Still, it was but a moment, and she smiled and bowed. "And without any troubles as well. I think they saw two honorable bushi and decided to leave Bayushi-sama and myself well alone. Arigato, both of you."

"And hopefully we won't be put in such a position. Still, it's something we could contemplate or even meditate on at another time," she said with a sound nod as she looked to the others, making sure that they weren't abducted by either kenku or bear during their discussion to the keep.

She smiled and bowed in return to Poemu, "Thank you for allowing me to join you, Agasha-sama. It proved to be a very insightful walk."

Touki bowed to the Agashi. "It was a pleasure, Agasha-sama. Please let this one know if I can assist you again."

He bowed to Wasako. "And thank you as well, Mirumoto-sama. For the, as you say, insightful walk." He gave her just the hint of a smile as he straightened.

"Oh, of course, thank you for retelling us about the legend behind the gardens," she said in return with a quick smile, offering a glance to Poemu afterwards. Again, she'd like to think it was Poemu who made it all possible, she could have likely shrugged their offers off.

"Of course." Touki nodded. "It was a pleasure to do so."

His feet shifted, turning into something rather like a guard standing at attention. Touki waited for his higher ranking guests to step through the open door of the keep.
