Day 8 12th day of the Month of the Hare, 759 The rainfall continues into its fifth day, though it as least slightly warmer than in previous days: merely cold, instead of freezing. The streets are little more than cobblestones laid down atop canals of mud at this point, making life all the more miserable for the thousands of refugees that fill Nikesake's streets. (During the rain, all Black Scroll penalties are ignored when casting Water spells.) Servant 3: "...Oh, well then." ~ ~ ~ "Ikoma Homura can do aaaaanything! Did you see her on the wall? That was her first time with a bow! Pew Pew Pew! She killed half of their forces just by herself! Hardly needed anyone else there at all!" ~ ~ ~ "The Unicorn are Barbarians!" "Eh? What's this then?" "That Moto Baatar was going on about raiding the Crane and stealing their food! Like a bandit!" "I thought the Chancellor was disowned or something... "They're traitors, I say!" ~ ~ ~ A small group of Lion soldiers are mocking the Crane for suggesting that the city surrender to the Steel Chrysanthemum. |
