I've got 7k3 on the first part of the event and 6k3 on the second. I'd have to Void for the third...

But I think I need to attempt an event, at least.

Thoughts, O, statistically minded?

Each person needs to get at least 4 monks at least, to get the minimum result.

Tn 30 and 40 are scary on the second roll, so anyone's best bet is actually getting raises on the first weapon roll, and then maybe hitting the base roll after.

This is a tough one...

Through Enemy Lines: Will be rolling at 4d4, no skill vs TN25
Stealth Kill: Will be rolling at 9k4 vs TN20,TN30,TN40(?)
Begin Evacuation: Will be rolling 5k4 with Perform: Flute/Agility...but I don't have a flute, I guess I could buy or borrow one before the event?

Touki is actually pretty good at every step of this (5k4, 9k4, 6k4). He just can't do it with a small weapon.

Will wait to see if some ninja want to join.

Baatar has decent dice pools at this (7k4 step 1, 7ke4 step 2, 4d10 or 4k3 step 3) but having been in an event on day 10 I'm going to hang back and let other people join this event, unless we find we're short on people who want to.

Myo-en’s a scout who fights with Jiujutsu and has utility tattoos+ample Void. She has an applicable skill for every step, and she can pretty safely shoot for TN 30 on the attack rolls (more if the Togashi R2 bonus applies), which, with the small weapons FR, means 6 monks saved across two rolls.

So, I’m good at it. But I won’t take a spot from someone who hasn’t done an event at all and wants to have a go—or in any case I’ll wait a while once it opens.

By the way, it’s three monks/participant for the basic win, not four. Six per person for the big prize. I think it’s probably very smart to send PCs who can shoot for more than three, though, to hedge against Orokos hate (that way we could still pass even if someone gets caught).

I like to think Yuko is really well positioned for this?

She's got :

5k4 on Stealth
8k4 on attack rolls
And she has Sensation and Agi for a lovely 5k4 on the final step, assuming she can acquire on of those instruments.

More than a few Agility 4 candidates for the event!

It's a bit of dozy when you try to math monks per participant...as the first roll could end their participation...and the last roll could negate their participation. :O

With the ruling on this being an attack, I could pretty easily get 5. 6 would be a little risky, but possible

I'm wondering about the instrument ruling in the other thread but the stealth roll is going to a coin flip at 5k5 after void and without skill. :/

Afterwards, I'm hoping to do 10k5 after void with 4 raises then a second try with 2 raises for 8 monks (I'm ambitious!). Is that too ambitious?

Then hoping for a 6k5 to bring it all home but might be moot without a flute.

Maybe I'll wait till the rest of you go and see how we're doing? I've passed Stealth already and can push for 8 monks or so if it's needed
