She unrolled the scroll of a prayer to the fortune of rice.  As she began the invocation, taking her time to do it properly and add a few more flourishes in the hopes that Inari could at least grant a little nori and sesame to go with the humble tea that was being conjured.  Rice was fine, but it never hurt if there was a little something to it.  
Of course, even with the spirits so placated and under control, it was a little bit of a close matter of concentration.  There was so much elemental instability in the last year, was there not?  Still, it went off without a hitch in the end and there were a few rice balls with a bit of seaweed at the base and tea.  Nothing fancy, but enough for the three of them with a little extra.
"Thank you for the chance, -sama.  If you don't mind, I am quite certain there's a bit too much here.  I will probably give the extra to some of the refugees." No point holding onto it.  Good will with the peasants could go a long way to nobody griping about where she put her tent.
