We were holding off as Sugimotto expressed interest but is on a different timezone. If event needs to fill I can jump in as I would generally be keeping 5+ dice but would prefer to give him the chan e for refusals

You can I imagine. Only Mogami can attack first 2 rounds

Homura is probably good enough not to need the buffs after a few rounds, so probably switch to Bataar or Tetsuko?

If Osamu has Stand Against the Waves then just stick with Mogami imho

I'm happy to team up with a shugenja if you need someone. I dunno who the best person for you to buff is. Stand Against the Waves is good for people already good at archery, Reverse of Fortunes probably good for people who are less good and might miss. Baatar is REF 4 and Kyujutsu 2.

My current battle plan is:

600': center stance (no attack)
540': dai-kyu with willow leaf targeting samurai, center stance bonus, void, -1k0 range (7k6+2 vs TN35)
480': center stance (no attack)
420': dai-kyu with willow leaf targeting samurai, center stance bonus (7k5+2 vs TN35)
360': dai-kyu with willow leaf targeting samurai, void (7k5 vs TN35)
300': yumi with willow leaf targeting samurai, -1k0 range (5k4 vs TN25)
240': yumi with willow leaf targeting samurai (6k4 vs TN25)
180': yumi with willow leaf targeting samurai (6k4 vs TN25)
120': yumi with flesh cutter targeting samurai (6k4 vs TN25)
60': yumi with flesh cutter targeting samurai (6k4 vs TN25)

...but let me know if you have magic spells that would modify this, or if anyone has better suggestions on strategy.

Flesh cutters probably change the TN on the last two shots to 30 assuming the samurai are in light armour?

Maybe throw a Reversal of Fortunes on Baatar for the early, unlikely shots and use the rest of your spells (Reversal, Stand against the Waves) helping Mogami until the bad guys get into magic hurricane range?

If you can get a Reversal of Fortune on Mogami and Baatar for early rounds (before me and Tetsuko can even join in) that would be perfect

Only Osamu, Baataar and Mogami can act round 1 and Baatar was going to center stance I believe. Osamu should go first to cast a spell on Mogami I think? (Reversal of Fortune is the best thing at this point)

Yeah, I'm going to reversal Mogami, then other archers. Should be able to call two raises for 5 rounds of rerolls each.

Edit: Well if Baatar can shoot round 1, I'll hit him first

Mogami is gonna be shooting first, Baatar is center stance round 1

Edit if you can do it in this order:

Round 1 RoF Mogami
Round 2 skip center stance?0
Round 3 RoF Baatar
Round 4 RoF me
Round 5 RoF Tetsuko
Round 6 either RoF reset on Mogami or give extra attack
After that not sure! Keep giving Mogami extras if you can. Unless you have spells with more than 100' you can't attack until round 10

I have spells with 300' range.

so from round 6 onwards you could consider dropping spells on the ashigaru potentially, or giving buffs out to Mogami/Baatar/me/Tetsuko still

Yes boss! Osamu is doing round 1 rolls then Mogami can follow up. It's just getting the first person rolling, after that it'll move pretty quickly
