She gave a quick dip of her head in apology in that regard, in case he thought she was being troublesome on the matter.

She was absolutely being difficult. Though that was fine with Norikami for right then. So far everything else in life had been already.

"Well, maybe you'll find a kind sponsor, who knows?" he mused. "Maybe one that can find my singing voice for me."

He relaxed a little. "Still, as far as dancing goes, you've got what it takes to try that."

"The name is not known to me... but the Tonbo were still the Dragonfly last time I was back home. Much has changed in such a short time, and even more will change in the immediate future it seems," she remarked, her tone touched by melancholy.

It was the first time someone had asked her if she had a horse, so it did snap her away from the melancholy simply because it was amusing. "I'm afraid I do not, but I'd say I'm quite fast on my own two legs. Not as fast as the horses of the Unicorn, as I'm told they're quite strong and fast."

"A sponsor..." She murmured in consideration with a hand on her chin, perhaps trying to find meaning in the word. Of course, she knew what it meant literally but what it means it came to being an artisan was another matter entirely. "Right, I'll be sure to be on the lookout for anyone who is generous enough to sponsor me in that regard, especially when I have nothing to show for here. This might be a bad day for it, everyone is more focused on pressing matters."

Wasako smirked and gave a deliberate turn in her steps. Not quite a twirl but perhaps a twirl in the traditional sense. "Perhaps, I do. Would a fan be preferable too?"

Iko's mind definitely didn't entertain the notion of making such suggestions to anyone...nope...not at all.

"No one is as fast as the horses of the Unicorn," Baatar said proudly. "But are you sure you can keep up? If we find enemies, we might have to run back here pretty fast."

"Perhaps it would be hasty to take it upon ourselves to scout now. I could probably manage to ride, if there is a horse for me to borrow, but... perhaps I will ask Shimizu-dono, if there are any scouts of his out there already for us to work with. The Lion know these lands better than either of us do - and it would probably be wiser to work with them."

"A fan, festive kimono and hair up..." She repeated all them like there was some growing shopping list that she had to take into account later. "I could suddenly see why artistry and being an artisan would require a sponsor. Especially seeing all of the possible accessories needed for that venture, it requires a full-time duty to make it all possible!"

Baatar looked thoughtful. "Yes, you're right, it might be better to work with Lion scouts, if they've sent any," he agreed. "Otherwise they may feel like we are stepping on their toes. I did have Matsu Erina ask me if I'd be interested in helping to train light cavalry scouts... do you know her? Maybe that'd be a good way to get involved in helping with scouting."

Yukinaga heard the woman who had spoken after him and noted her location. After sometime listening to others speak and even one who seemed to favor the murderous returned emporer he sought out this Matsu.

"Thank you for supporting my words today Matsu-san." He said with a smile though the expression remained hidden behind his mempo. "It is good to see many think along the same lines we do."

"Might be that's the case, but fun on it's own is much more low budget. It's something to keep in mind at your own pace, we might be in need of entertainment in the next few weeks."

It was unfortunate to mention, but there was likely a fight coming there way, and who knew how strong the enemy really was?

He snaps the fan shut and speaks openly.

The Hilsilage pauses, realizing he is belaboring the point.

"The returned Hantei..." Horonigai mentions, and takes some time to swallow her thoughts before explaining to Chiyo.

"... he demanded Hantei XXII to abdicate and recognize his predecessor as sovereign." She looks up trying to find air.
