"We might not get a chance for daily practice, but I'll do my best to do that. I do take time to meditate on the world around and as a duelist I do have a good focus" Homura grinned "in no time I'll be a master of the bow. I won't ever be as good as Matsu-sama though" Homura bowed to the woman "your skills are fantastic."

Mogami blushes a little

"You are fantastic because you're an honourable example of the Lion, Matsu-sama" Homura smiled at the woman "I'm merely the friend that cheered you on along the way. Remember me when you're leading the Lion armies, ne?"

Homura chuckled.

"As for my stance, assuming we get a chance to in the near future I would be happy to show you."

Then immediately steps back, turns around, and turns bright red.

Homura tilted her head, studying the woman before nodding.

"I would enjoy spending more time with you Matsu-sama, so don't worry. I'm sure we'll get plenty of chances to display our skills" there was a subtle wink before she turned to look out across the vast rainy worlds around them. Giving Mogami time to piece her On back together.

As she saw the Phoenix shugenja standing nearby, Chihaya called a halt. "Go ahead and get something to eat and take a breather - conserve your strength. And remember the different commands!"

As they dispersed for the moment to get food, she made her way over and asked, courteously, "Isawa-san, this one is Suzume Chihaya, I saw you were waiting... is there something you required of me?"

The phoenix seemed somewhat familiar, but she wasn't certain, and she had a bad habit of mixing up names and faces, so a fresh introduction seemed safest.

Mikado didn't sound... quite right, after all.

"We've been in the cold and rain for some time now. We should go back into the gatehouse and let have Tsuruga and Fuwa take back over. "

"Part of becoming a leader is to understand how to teach others to lead. Budoka traditionally lead Ashigaru units, not Samurai. I teach Tsuruga and Fuwa both by teaching them directly, and indirectly. This is a moment where I believe inderect works better. I take a group, they take a group, repeat."
