Having returned from the Blue Tiled Room with the notes she had made , Miwako prepared to continue her part of the research. The spell the Phoenix were attempting to craft had potential, but there were questions of effectiveness. She spent some time in meditation to prepare herself, before releasing her spirit to attempt a different kind of research. The realm was overcast and tinted red, as if it were sunset and something were on fire. Bodies were strewn everywhere around her, so thick that she could not see the ground beneath them. All around her, samurai in torn and damaged armor fought an endless battle, screaming as they cut each other down with wild hacks and undisciplined swings. |

When she visited other realms, the spirits usually regarded her as one of them. In Toshogoku, however, that didn't keep her safe as it did in the others. Miwako knew she couldn't stay long. It seemed to be an uncontrolled melee, as far as Miwaku could see. The sides changed at a moment's notice, with warriors stabbing their former allies in the back only to rush forward in a charge alongside those they had been fighting against a moment earlier. If anything, it seemed far more chaotic and uncontrolled than the behavior of the slaughter spirits currently arrayed against Nikesake. |

She waited for a few more moments, trying to get a sense of what influence, if any, the elements might have in the realm. She would be ready to leave a moment later. |

One of the samurai turns to Miwaki, his face pulling back in a sneer as he roars and charges toward her, blade overhead. |

Immediately, she withdrew to her body in the mortal realm. |
