Post subject:  [D7, LM, Phoenix Embassy] Reigniting the Flames.

Hachi, after actually having a chance to spend time neither sleeping nor marching for the first time in days, finds his way to the Phoenix Embassy. It hadn't been easy, but he managed. Once he made it into the entrance, he looked around for Kashiwagi or another high ranking Phoenix.

Miwako had found her way as well. The journey had left her weary and bedraggled, but she still seemed alert and energetic.

Somgai was in the embassy as well, having just put his daughter down for a nap in a nearby room. He stood close to Miwako, drinking in everything with wide eyes.

"There is something we should discuss." Miwako spoke. "With the battle, the evacuation and the march, I didn't have an opportunity to report to the rest of you, regarding the rain."

"Hai." she nodded. "The day before the battle, I used my spiritual ability to approach Tengoku, to directly ask the Water Dragon for guidance regarding the imbalance that has inhibited our connection to the kami. It took some time, to communicate with it and convince it, but it agreed."

"I don't know how long this might last." she added. "Or, how far the rains extend. But, I do know my connection to the water kami has been diminished in exchange. It feels similar to how it felt before my Tensai training."

She lifted her forearms to show tattoos representing swirls of air, then tilted her neck to show another representing the ocean.

"It appears my training with the Togashi has finally been awakened."

"It's unexpected." she admitted. "I thought I had left before completing their training. Regardless, it appears I am on a new path."

She shook her head. "The Dragon of Water was not very forthcoming. I didn't know what to expect. It does seem to be following us, though."
