Walking the length of the outside of the Embassy Mai pondered, thought. For a while she stood in one place and then another. An enemy army had left and now there were many out there slaughtering the wounded. It was.. Back inside Mai found herself set up as she usually was. Needle, ink pots, cloths and mats, all set out that she might resume her focus on a more positive matter. That she might continue the work that she had begun just some days ago and give peace to the trouble that yet occupied her mind. Through determination and focus, she steeled herself and her thoughts against the worst of it, that she can process what she now understood in time. |
