Erina had sent word ahead as soon as she heard the news of the Matsu Kassenko and, ahem, "initial negotiations" to inform the governor, and that she would be there to offer her assistance in whatever was needed. It was a sad state of affairs when she would need to primp before offering to help with an emergency, but it was unfortunately the state of things at the moment. Erina would patiently wait in the receiving area, cognizant of the fact that the Governor would have plenty on here plate already. |

Erina presents herself and bows, keeping her head low. "I am hoping that I can be of service Governor-dono." "First, I wanted to make sure that you were made aware of the situation with the enemy. An ambassador from the Steel Chrysanthemum just arrived...Matsu Kassneko. She asked to have us present someone to hear their terms of surrender. And so...one of the Unicorn shot her. Non-lethally." Erina does her best to hide a wince. It was bad news no matter which way you sliced it. |

With the enemy at the gates, we know little about their numbers and composition. I am hoping to assemble a group of scouts to gather information, but i felt it necessary to ensure that I would not be disrupting your own efforts, or taking me away from any duties you had in mind for me. After all, it is the duty of the samurai to serve." |

"That it is! And, by the looks of things, duty has been followed to the letter." She has a sardonic smirk on her face. "I don't mind you scouting, but if the enemy is already killing people in the walls, I'm not sure there's much more that can be done. We have dead ancestors attacking people in the streets and arrows flying over our walls!" She leans in toward Erina. "Would you consider scouting the city, instead? Clearly, on today of all days, no one has any damn idea what's going on in this city! If you could report back with that, I'd love to hear it!" |

"If that's what you wish, I do see the value in it. After all, if we have infiltratoon maybe we can find the source." Erina nods. "I will give it my all. Are there any districts in particular you wish patrolled?" "Might I ask if we have any scouts outside the city as well?" In truth, her own group of Agarashi were not ready and could use the time. |

Erina grimaces involuntarily. "Yes, I can see the wisdom in that. I am hoping to take people from multiple clans, so the issue is not going to come up. "Do you prefer the whole city, or any section in particular?" |

If I would try to sneak in ancestors to launch another front, they might have the cover of scattered refugees.
