"Ugh, my head. I think I had a bit too much last night. Tsuruga, Fuwa, whichever of you are awake, could you get me some water?"

Hearing nothing after a few moments, Mogami opens her eyes. Seeing the room completely gone, she rubs at them and blinks.

Everything was gone. Her armor. Her daisho. All of her equipment. Her Budoka were missing as well, and all of their various gear was gone. Not even the ink and paper she vaguely remembered writing on was around. She was stunned and silent for a moment. Then, she begins to search the room for any clues.

Everything is missing. It is clear that someone was here, but you can find no clear sign as to who.

The only thing you find is a small origami lion that is sitting against the door to your room on the outside.

Mogami tries her best to cover her nudity with her hands and opens the door to find the origami lion. She calls out loudly.

"Guards!"

One comes running down the hall, and he averts his eyes at the sight of her.

"Yes?"

"Who was on watch last night and this morning? Every single one of my possessions has been stolen, and my men are missing as well. Please send for those on watch and for the Governor."

"I was, Matsu-sama. I patrol this whole area... but I didn't see anyone enter your room. I did see your companions leave with your grandmother about an hour ago, though. She was taking them to the dojo to train.... I didn't think anything of it. Oh kami help me, should I have stopped her?"

"My grandmother died during the War of Burned Wings. Quickly, find me something to put on and get me an escort to the dojo. Without a Daisho I could be mistaken for someone else."

The guard's eyes go as wide as if you'd just told him he was on fire, and he rushes off to find you clothes.

A short time later he returns with another Lion who bows deeply. She says "I will escort you, Matsu-sama."

He is clearly flustered by his failure to stop the dead.

Mogami takes the garment and slides the door clothes, quickly getting dressed. She then slides the door back open and says to the guard:

"Report everything I have told you and what you told me to any Magistrate or above in this castle."

She then turns to her escort.

"Let's go. When we get to the dojo, prepare for a fight. We can't let a slaughter spirit run free in this city. Any weapon you may have extra or can get from the armory for me would be appreciated."
