The Temple of the Seven Dragons is a large temple built to commemorate the site where Ryoken, the messenger of the Elemental Dragons, appeared to five mortals and told them they had each been chosen to bear a fragment of an Elemental Dragon's essence. These mortals became the first immortal Oracles, the eyes and ears of the Elemental Dragons in the mortal realm.
Though the Phoenix consider all of their shrines and temples to be sacred, the Temple of the Seven Dragons is viewed as one of their greatest temples. Those with a connection to the elements feel a strange sensation while within the temple, as if the heavens were watching them much more closely than elsewhere in the Empire.
Dragon statues adorn the outside of the temple as well as its interior, and there are numerous shrines where those wishing to commune with the Dragons may do so. The monks that tend to the shrine also have a number of scrolls that detail mortal interactions with the Oracles, many of them dating back to the dawn of the Empire. It's said that those who are in search of an Oracle often make the Temple of the Seven Dragons one of the first stops on their quest.
