"For fuck's sake, you act almost as badly as you hunt. How fucking hard is it to get across who you're mocking without saying their name. Even puppet shows can manage to get that right." she said, while heading over to Yukinaga to patch him up as well.

Yukinaga felt the water kami easing his soreness and he bowed slightly to Aya in thanks and as he raised he quirked an eyebrow "do you two always bicker like this?" He couldnt imagine travelling with someone who he clashed with so frequently. But to each their own.

Yukinaga shook his head a little, the dynamic was unique but it was their own. "Well you have made it this far, perhaps there is something to it." Was all he said by reply.

"So should we continue to hunt around or would it be wise to return to town?" Yuki asked as he retrieved his bow and put it on his back. He was a warrior but monster hunting was not his expertise, for that he deferred to the two more experienced scorpion.

"Well assuming Noribaka somehow didn't miss the tracks of two of these things, we should probably head back. I still have a bad feeling about today, I don't think it's safe to stay out here too long looking for more trouble."

The silly argument between the two samurai was getting on the nerves of Shukei, who was trying to find where the tracks of the creature came from, at least what direction they came from. Even though the snow could cover the footprints, the size of the creature probably had created other tracks along trees and other natural features in the area.

(IF STILL POSSIBLE. Sorry RL held me up yesterday, it's my touch school day.)

Multiple sets of tracks seem to converge on a location just a few dozen meters away. There Shukei finds a grisly, blood-splattered pit containing the remains of perhaps a half dozen people, all of them violently dismembered. The corpses appear to be reasonably fresh.

Yukinaga follows the. Lion in case any more action breaks out when he sees what Shukei find he halts "By the Emporer, this is terrible. Hopefully this was just one active monster and there arent more around."

"Well it seems like this was done not long ago, and hopefully we have just defeated the source of the danger before it could cause any damage." The lion looked at the corpses with disgust and pain, all that meaningless killing. The shugenja gave a prayer for each and every one of the corpses there as he checked if they had been of one or another social status.
