"Shh... it's okay. We're just going to go on another trip." Miwako rocked Wagikashi gently in her arms as she looked out at the rainy night. "The Water Dragon is watching over us, so we need you all wrapped up nice and warm." Once again, the Isawa considered their options. Sending their child away with the refugees had not seemed safe and reports seemed to confirm that. Evacuating to Nikesake now was also risky, but staying in Toshi no Omoidoso was simply too dangerous. It would take too long to travel anywhere else. There were no other options. |

Isawa Inugami decided to check around for the delegates of the Phoenix clan. An order has been granted to evacuate the city and his training dictates to verify on the people of his clan. If a shugenja was to stay he, himself has to stay to protect them. Behind the Isawa a Shiba Inu happens to follow him this time. He knocks on the frame of the door to announce himself. She nodded. "We are gathering our things. My husband has most of it, but I do have a few bottles of sake that need to be packed." |

Inugami looked at the dog who sat and waited outside the door. Inugami entered and helped pack the bottles. "We will be travelling for a few days. Hopefully the city will be safer than here." He looked at the other Isawa. "I will glad to help any way you need." |

She looked down at the dog as well. "It's all right. You can come in." "Nikesake is more fortified, with strong walls." she said. "But, I wonder if that will be enough." |

"I am hoping they won't have a chance." she answered. "We may not have stopped them here, but we will hopefully be reinforced as we head south. I pray we stop them before they reach Otosan Uchi." "As for the Council, it may take time for new Masters to emerge." she answered. "To have all of them gone. It is unthinkable." |

"She was born this winter, just a few months ago." she smiled. "I am not sure about the Council. Usually, they would nominate their own successor, but the rest of the Council would actually select the new member. There are some politics involved, which always seems to make things difficult." |
