"Well, they probably have some understanding of tactics. I imagine they simply have difficulty keeping their impulses in check once they start drawing blood. That may not be true for all of them though. That was just the ones I saw," he states with a twitch of his eye. "Kami, I hope they don't attack tactically if they attack here though."

"I started up dojo work today. I'll likely try to make it a regular thing, but I imagine that once word spreads the dojos in town may become quite filled with bushi preparing for the potential assault."

Kin looks out over the city again. "People will suffer, people will die, and it will not be their fault. It's too common a story and the one I hate the most. And even when we try to do something about it, more deaths follow. The powerful without care for the meek. At least this time it's an otherworldly threat and most can agree about the danger it poses."

"Well, I'd say the Naga were probably the last enemy of this magnitude really, but at least we could reach common ground with them. But yes, the last enemy of this maliciousness at least was certainly easier to raise a blade against. At least until you've faced them once... after you see what they are capable of, only a fool would hesitate. It is quite disgusting."

"I'll be meeting with one a couple of Scorpion tomorrow. I learned that there is a specialist among your number in dealing with monstrous and spiritual threats from their compatriot, Bayushi Norikami. Becoming a bit more educated on the threat we face can't hurt I imagine."

"I sparred with him, he's quite skilled with a blade," Kin confirms. "And he did let me know that his associate was a wardmaster. I met one not long after we parted ways. While they seem to be a dour lot, I didn't really see where all the rumors and superstition came from, as he was a decent enough man." The Piranha shrugs at that.

"I'm not overly concerned."
