Wearing a simple, light yukata and not much else Kanade opened her window. Beautiful... simply glorious. Her two dogs, albeit less bothered by the storm than most after being on the high seas curled against each other further away.

Kanade set two bowls of rice on the window sill. She offered up prayers to each Osano-wo and to the dragon of lightning who birthed him. She figured this would have to do, feeling unable to get to the shrine today.

Then, as a more appropriate offering she attempted to alter the weather to strengthen the lightning storm. How better to thank a fortune of thunder than with a bit of lightning. In Kanade's mind it may be like sustenance.

Lightning cracks in the sky, flashing brightly and silhouetting a serpentine shape moving among the clouds.

Kanade bows low and smiles to herself. "Thank you for gracing me with your image, Dragon of Thunder-dono!" The mantis felt inspired by the sudden appearance. "If this one can aid you in anyway, send a sign."
