This spell is known only to the Imperial Families.
You summon a shimmering sasumata composed of pure spiritual energy, as rigid as the real thing despite its spiritual nature. The weapon's default form is a sasumata, but one Raise can change its form to any other polearm of your choosing. The weapon has a DR of 2k2. If you do not possess the Polearms skill, you may instead use your School Rank in its place. If you do possess the Polearms Skill, using this weapon grants you one Free Raise that can only be used on the Knockdown maneuver. If the sasumata deals enough damage to reduce its target to the Down Wound Level or below, the target instead suffers just enough damage to reduce them to Down and is knocked unconscious for a number of hours equal to your School Rank. The sasumata disappears if it is lost from your hand.
Instead of summoning the sasumata for yourself, you may cause it to appear in the hands of an ally within 20 feet. The ally is treated as the caster for all purposes of this spell, but does not gain the Free Raise bonus.

This spell causes a hyperactive Fire kami to take root in your mind, vastly accelerating your deductive reasoning. You can quickly draw inferences from seemingly unrelated events to arrive at logical conclusions that would otherwise take days to discover. For the duration of the spell, you gain the Wary advantage and may use your Intelligence Trait instead of your Perception Trait when making Investigation rolls. In addition, you gain a bonus equal to your Fire Ring to the total of every Investigation roll you make.

Raises: Duration (+10 minutes), Range (+10 feet), Special (you may target another willing creature with this spell with two Raises)
This spell is only known to the Imperial Families.
This spell is typically cast before public appearances of imperial Imperials, allowing their yojimbo to more easily protect them against potential assassins. When this spell is in effect, any ranged attack made against a human target within 10 feet of the caster is instead redirected to the caster, comparing the original attack roll against the caster's Armor TN as if he had been the original target of the attack. The caster may choose to end this spell as a free action on their turn.
The caster may call two Raises to cast this spell on another willing target instead of themselves. The new target is then treated as the caster for all purposes of the spell.
