As the spirit army approached the city, Moto Akemi found herself in the city's bathhouse, preparing for what was certainly a normal and completely safe bath.

Thank you for your blessings water dragon but this is enough rain now please...

After being almost frozen enough to consider whether fur was actually worth trying, Akemi had decided to take some time in the baths to warm up. It was blissful in the water at least.

Nothing could possibly ruin this moment. Nothing at all.

A sharp scream breaks the peaceful silence, only to be abruptly cut off. More shouts follow, and then the door to the bath house is kicked open, revealing a tall samurai with a distinctly rough appearance.

With a roar, he charges toward Akemi!

(Akemi is in the water, so movement is half speed until she gets 15' to reach the edge. Her clothing and scrolls are 50 ft. away in the changing area.)

What in the world?!

Akemi was up, arm over her body, looking with wide eyes as a mad samurai charged her way!

At a big disadvantage, Akemi moved away from the Ronin and towards the changing rooms...slowly. Damn water! She climbed out of the baths, hopefully before the crazed Ronin got to her.

(Ooc: Simple action move (half movement because water - so 15')
Simple/Free action get out of the bath?
Simple/free action move - full movement now towards the changing rooms)

Defense stance - TN36

The man charges forward, grabs a brazier full of heated coals to provide warmth for the bathhouse, and throws them at Akemi. The brazier flies over her head and slams into the far wall, scattering hot coals everywhere.

"C'mere little one! Let's have some fun!"

(Akemi is 20' from clothes and scrolls, ronin is 10' behind her. )

Akemi had little option. She wasn't willing to hurt the man, but perhaps he would take a hint by seeing his worst fears?

She whispered a spell to herself before turning round to look at the man, continuing to move to her clothes.

The man hesitates, his eyes going wide with fear. Still shaking even after the illusion departs, he presses forward, his sword arm shaking.

He swings at her, and nearly drops the weapon.

"Guards!" Akemi shouted out to try and get some attention, before looking the man in the eye and casting again.

Look into your fears and flee. It is not your time to die samurai-san.

Whatever that man feared, he was facing it again.

Free action to move to my clothes (should be at them now)

The man screams as something materializes in front of him. He turns and flees, stumbling over spilled towels and coals as he staggers out of the bathhouse and into the streets.

Akemi holds her hand over her chest to calm her racing heart. She had no idea what that Ronin thought he was doing, but it had ruined a perfectly good bathing time.

She sighed, picking up a towel and drying herself off. There was no point continuing with the bathing now.

I hope that wasn't from you, Benten-no-kami....

(ooc - no idea if there's anything more to happen here!)
