The spirits surge forward, hacking away at the living samurai with spectral swords that pass through their armor and clothing to cut through flesh unimpeded.

(Homura is hit twice for 17 and 16 damage.)
(Setsuna is hit once for 25 damage.)
(Tani is hit once for 14 damage.)
(Kinuko is hit once for 21 damage.)

(Note: this damage is unaffected by Armor reduction.)

The spirits swarmed over them, Homura wincing as two got through her defenses to cut literally under her armour.

"Sheesh if you wanted me naked you could have asked!"

She took aim at the closest one, her nodachi swiping up and cutting what she hoped would be a severe hit, while eying a few others up

Chiyo drew her scroll from her pack, silently thanking the Scorpion as he deflected a blow for her.

With the water surging around her, she was triumphant and felt the nausea that had so long troubled her fade away.

"Ikoma-san - you are the hero of your own story!"

The rain around Homura danced and swirled around her, the water forming into a stream that lifted her arm and guided her hand.

Getting the sense that they didn't give a single, solitary damn about the armor she was wearing, Tani more or less abandoned any hope of using it to deflect blows. Instead, she thrust her bisento deep into the one she had struck before, tears barely stinging her eyes as her Kiai puts crushing amounts of weight behind the strike.
