"You needed me, Isawa-san?"

"Just for a moment." she nodded. "I wanted to restore the healing blessing I gave you."

She had already quietly prepared it. She only needed to complete the final prayer to transfer it to the Sparrow.

With a nod, Chihaya accepted.

"I would be honored, Isawa-san."

It didn't take long. She went through the process in the same way she had days before, praying over three scrolls and final reaching out to Chihaya. Once it was done, Miwako gave a satisfied smile.

"There. It has been restored."

(What is the trigger? Taking more than 20 wounds? A word?)

Chihaya bowed her head.

"You have my thanks - I shall endeavor to be worthy of this blessing."

"I am sure you will be." she nodded as she put the scrolls away. "My apologies, for interrupting you and Kayou-sensei."

"There was no interruption, Isawa-sama," said Kayou. "This one thinks Suzume-sama and this one have come to an understanding, ne?"

A soft sigh.

"And in the end, we all must work together, no matter our concerns, in order to protect those in our care here and now."

Rising, Chihaya picked up the bokken, weighing it thoughtfully.

"In that sense, we carry on, no matter our thoughts on the political state of things."
